This is something I have heard this week, and it deeply resonated with me, so naturally I couldn’t wait to share it with you all!
Make your “One Day” Today.
How often do we say this in our lives;
I’ll definitely do that ‘one day’
We should plan to meet up and do that ‘one day’
I’d love to go there ‘one day’
What is this, and why do we do it?!
Do we feel like we aren’t worthy, do we feel like we aren’t quite ready for it yet, because we are waiting for it to be perfect, is it because we don’t think we have the finances to support us?
Whatever it is, in many situations it is a rubbish excuse!
This is where I am going to get quick frank, so excuse me for the bluntness here, but we are not here forever.
I don’t know about you, but I know I have read tragic posts on social media in the past, where a young person finds out they are terminally ill. And it seems that only in these extreme situations, does it truly resonate with us that our human life is not to be taken for granted, and it could all be over in the blind of an eye.
I personally remember Holly Butcher, an Australian woman of only 27 wrote a letter that went viral after she passed in 2018. At this point in my life, I was 26 so it really hit home. Holly took the time to urge us to be grateful for life, and for our loved ones, and to assess what we think is important in our lives.
On reflection today, I realise that we owe it to Holly, and to many other wonderful people who have left us messages to actually act on their advice.
Don’t take anything for granted, be grateful, and share love in our daily lives.
And above all putting the love for yourself first - for once, book that trip you have been wanting to book, tell that person you love them, read that book you want to read, book that course, because quite frankly what the F are we waiting for!
I want to encourage you to step into your higher self, and live the life you want to live.
“You only get one life, but if you do it right, once is enough.”
Sending Love and Light,
Hannah x
